THE WORLD OF DEWI SRI – THE HISTORY OF WATER AND RICE
First we climb the mountains to see the huge water reservoirs, the reason of the fertility of Bali.
We stop at Lake Bratan to visit the photogenic main temple.
Then we go down to the Subak-museum in Sanggulan.
Now we and everybody has said Thank You for the water and the rice, we go back to Lovina Beach.
€ 35 p.p., entrance fees and lunch included, minimum 3 persons
On the slopes of Mount Batakau (2278m) we stop in Jatiluwih. The view on the ricefields, stretching all the way to the south, is astounding.
Explanation about the old democratic Subak-organisations will be given there. The subak-organisations have the best harvests in the world!
Then we go down to the Subak-museum in Sanggulan.
After we’ve seen and heard everything about the unique subak organizations, it is the to come to the apotheosis: Tanah Lot. We can wait here for a wonderful sunset.
Now we and everybody has said Thank You for the water and the rice, we go back to Lovina Beach.
